BETHLEHEM, Pa.-Even in light of the economy's recent downturn, there is still good news for the class of 2008, according to a new report from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). The spring 2008 issue of NACE's Salary Survey shows that, for the most part, average starting salary offers to 2007-2008 graduates are on the rise.

Roaring, ecstatic country fans will soon fill the Don Haskins Center to watch Grammy-award-winning singer/songwriter Carrie Underwood perform. Her concert will begin at 7 p.m. May 6. Underwood has performed on several tours throughout the U.S. and will come to El Paso with special guest Josh Turner.

Price looks forward to new season

After nearly a month of practices, UTEP football caps off its spring season with the annual Spring Game tomorrow night at the Sun Bowl. After the off season, which included wholesale changes to the coaching staff, UTEP head coach Mike Price knew this spring would go a long way toward erasing six losses that capped last year's 4-8 season.
