      As the time rapidly approaches for UTEP seniors to don their cap and gowns and walk across the stage at the Don Haskins Center, many students took the time to reflect on the sacrifices that made graduation possible. “I think that the major sacrifice that I have had to make is to move out of my house, and move in with my parents to complete my internship,” said Laura Reyes, senior interdisciplinary studies major.

    UT-System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa announced April 27 through the UT-System’s YouTube page that he has reversed his decision on the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.-Andy Lee boxing match. “It’s my understanding that this decision I made resulted in significant concern from the El Paso community and over the past two days, I have heard the united voice of El Paso in a very unified and respectful way, that in my form of leadership,” Cigarroa said.
