It’s not good, and Zach Wilson Apparently not feeling well.
But Jets coach Robert Saleh didn’t want to give an update on Wilson’s right knee injury after Friday night’s 24-21 win over the Eagles.
“We are Gonna wait In an MRI,” Saleh said in a video by SNY. “I’m 0-fer, guys, trying to understand doctor language, so I’m going to let the MRI play and we’ll find out tomorrow.”
Saleh allowed that the ACL “should be the way it is.”
“But again, let’s wait until the MRI,” Saleh added.
With 4:29 left in the first quarter, Wilson rolled to the right side. He went down untouched as he got a foot in the bottom of the 7th over. Wilson favored his right leg as he left the field.
“He’s in a good mood,” Saleh said. “He’s fine. A little frustrated, obviously. But he’s as good as you can get in this situation.
The turf at Lincoln Financial Field was new and replaced for Sale on July 29, but he wouldn’t speculate on whether that was the cause of Wilson’s injury.
